9 Tips That Should You Should Know About Ghost Recon: Future Soldier

Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Future Soldier is a video game published by Ubisoft and was released for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles on May 22, 2012. Excluding expansions, it is the fifth installment in the Ghost Recon series, and was announced to be in development by Ubisoft on January 22, 2009. The game has a futuristic take on the Ghost Recon series.

1. THE BASICS

Think before shooting. That means gathering as much intel as you can and coordinating with your teammates. You’re only four guys and the enemies that outnumber you are deadly. You always have to be sure that you’re putting yourself in the best possible situation before pulling the trigger!

2. THE KEY TACTICS

Firstly, stick to cover. It’s simple: if you’re protected, the enemy can’t shoot you. Once in cover, gather intel with sensors so you can’t be surprised by an Al flanking you. Finally, start to mark enemy targets so your team can help you out.

3. COMPETITIVE MULTIPLAYER MASTERY

Always play as a team and stick to your role. And adapt! If you lack intel on an enemy, I would choose to go in as a sniper. If you must defend a point, deploy sensor cameras. And so on. The point is to be smart about your approach. Running and gunning will not bring success in multiplayer.

4. BOOSTING YOUR GHOST SQUAD SCORE

Recon: you want to know where all the enemies are so you aren’t caught by surprise. Synchronization: because you want to take them down without alerting them or their friends. And always confirm your targets before shooting: stay frosty, and do not, under any circumstances, kill civilians.

Designate the right targets, split them between your team, and perform simultaneous shots. Um, did I mention that you need to gather intel first?

5. CO-OP ADVICE

Communicate! You need to speak with your team. Say what you’re doing, where you’re heading and what target you’re picking. And then mark your target.

When you see something dangerous don’t just say it – mark it.

6. GATHERING THAT PRECIOUS INTEL

Well, optical camo can prevent intel acquisition. Therefore, you might want to disable it… For Snipers you’ll have to use your cross com. It can predict the fire of the snipers (by displaying it on your AR) if you have the correct intel on the target.

Invaluable!

7. MULTIPLAYER DATA HACKING

We have several pieces of equipment that allow you to stun your enemies. While an enemy is stunned, you can hack into their system and download their intel; sharing it with your team. This allows your team to know the position of your enemy’s entire team for a limited amount of time. Intel is extremely valuable and you obviously don’t want to get hacked.

Once you’re down, a teammate is your best hope of getting back in the game with your intel intact.

8. MULTIPLAYER CONFIDENCE

Our confidence system encourages players to play together. A lone player can take up to 20 seconds to interact with an objective. With teammates in proximity you not only have someone watching your back, but your interaction time can be cut by up to half – often the difference between winning and losing.

9. MAKE THE MOST OF GUNSMITH

Tweak, test, tweak, test, test… Thanks to the integrated shooting range in Gunsmith, testing new weapon customisations is really easy and fast. The perfect weapon is the one optimally adapted to the situation in which you are in at the moment…

There is no one perfect gun for every situation.
